12. Gunite
Gunite is a cement based product that is applied to form the shell of the pool.  Air, water and the dry gunite mix are sent through a series of hoses under high pressure.  These ingredients are mixed together in air after leaving the applicators nozzle.  The now wet gunite mixed in pneumatically placed on the pool sides encompass steel at a pre determined thickness to form the pool walls.  This rough formation is shaped to perfection using various instruments to shape the pool shell.
